Former Lord Resistance Army (LRA) abductees and survivors of Gender-Based Violence, (GBV), are engaged in multiple activities ranging from bag making, dolly mending, and shoemaking. Jolly Laker Andruvile, director of the Women Economic Empowerment Network and Designing, (WEND) Africa, says although majority of the former LRA returnees were given skills in tailoring, saloon by the different NGOs that were rehabilitating them after captivity, their skills could not compete favourably in the job market.#NTVNews
